1965 Nova Hood Supports

Using a bit of ingenuity Scott was able to add a set of supports to his 1965 Nova Hood. Using a set of 120lb supports a threaded and extended ball stud on the one end, and building a good foundation and bolting in the other end the supports are secured in place. Below is a link to the support that was used, as well as the ball stud. We do not have any details as to how he was able to build up the bolt foundation to keep the support level and in line. Caution should be used when attempting a project like this, and if you are not mechanically inclined we do not suggest that you try to build this, supports are under pressure when compressed and can be very dangerous upon releasing from a compressed state.
