My Ball Socket isn't aligning with the Ball Stud. I Believe I received two of the same Side. When your vehicle was built there was a left and right hand part number for the robotics to assemble the vehicle. The difference was that the ball socket holes pointed to the left and also the right. All aftermarket supports are supplied as one part number with the ball socket hole pointed in a neutral position. What you need to do is mount the one end of the support (the piston) side preferred and then turn the support in a clockwise position till it is on place. If you receive 2 different part numbers then you will follow the same instructions only the support with an L marked on it is for the Left (drivers) side and a R Right (passenger) side.
