Gas struts for Celica rear hatch
These work! I tried OEM and other aftermarket struts and none would hold the hatch up (and if any extremities were in the way when the hatch came down they would get chopped off). I ordered the TRD supports for a bit of extra strength. The documentation I recieved with vague about how to attach the socket to the ball. After a call to their support # it was made clear to me and the installation went without a hitch. Great; product, price, support.

It was easy to switch out the lift supports, and I think these will last. I can tell they have a higher capacity than the ones that were on before.
