Gas charged strut

This item fits 2018 Ford Focus Sedan trunk, the factory uses a shock not a strut and I had enough of the trunk lid coming down on my head if there was a slight breeze or snow on it, the strut I choose if about 5/8” shorter than factory shock and the 12 lbs is just enough to hold it up, no more getting pissed off at my trunk lid, Ford Motor Company failed to do it right so I took care of the problem!
