7.50'' STRONG ARM 4053 LIFT SUPPORT

4053 - end changing

Worked fine, just wish I did not have to deal with getting the ends off which seemed to be on with loctite. Had to cut them off and then take off the brass female threaded portion with visegrips. I then installed them in a couple of Sentry pistol Safes. They lifted the lids easily. the original closed to 5.12 inches while this lift support only closed to 5.34 inches. You might offer these without the ends. The ends on your product were too wide to clear the lid to close the safe while the other end was an eyelet end. It worked out but installation would have been much less labor intensive. The product is a strong lift and was made in Turkey with some kind of clear loctite material to lock the threads.

The depot makes it easy to determine the correct lift They offer support by way of online catalogs that don't require selecting a car or truck. This was a marine application. Stores such as NAPA, O'reilly's don't have catalogs online or in their brick and mortar locations. Delivery was quick.
