Cheap plastic ends
Don’t even bother with these, go for the Stabilus instead. The plastic end fittings and the Torx bolts on these are total crap. They break easily during the install, the plastic wears out quickly in service, & the bolts corrode quickly with a white powdery substance, this in Florida inside 3 months. The shock is OK but the ends are Total junk. You can’t retrofit the factory studs/ends to these shocks. Kudos to LS Depot for shipping the Stabilus units as a fix for this.

installation of Strong Arm 4535 Gas Charged Liftgate Lift for 2001 Town and Country LX
R & R took 10mins. I used a 78" 2 x 4 to prop up the liftgate to work. Used a T40 Torx on a 3/8" driver w/4" extension to remove and replace. Sprayed WD40 on ea. bolt before removal & on install. Removal and install was very easy as parts fit perfectly. I saved at least $100 by DIY. Thank you Lift Support Depot for an excellent product that fit perfectly.Big Daddy
