Stabilus 4B-8551IX lift support for the 1998-2002 Lincoln Town CAR hood. 14.29 in extended length, 93 lbs of force, a 8 mm ball socket (5/16 in) body end and a 10 mm ball socket (3/8 in) shaft end, and 10.65 in compressed length. Direct-fit replacement for the original support, restoring proper lift and hold on a sagging or failing hood. Also fits the 1992-1997 Ford Crown Victoria and 1992-1997 Mercury Grand Marquis.
