Lift Supports Depot PM1135 lift support for the 1991-2001 Ford Explorer hood. 9.8 in extended length, 166 lbs of force, a 8 mm ball socket (5/16 in) body end and a 10 mm ball socket (3/8 in) shaft end, and 6.97 in compressed length. Replaces the original support to bring a sagging or slow-closing hood back to proper lift and hold. Also fits the 1997-2001 Mercury Mountaineer. Sold one per unit; replacing the pair keeps lift force even. Stroke is 2.09 in. The rod measures 8 mm and the cylinder 18 mm. Includes a 1-year warranty.
