This worked great to fix the trunk lid on my 2011 Spyder RT LMTD. When we purchased it, the lid would not stay up, I had to hold it up while I was adding/removing things from the trunk, it is SO nice to be able to have the trunk lid stay up and not have to hold it!!

Installed shock. Fits perfect. Works great. Bought a second one . For one on each side of trunk lid. I have al luggage rack. I have no problems with it coming down or having to hold it up anymore.

I put this on my Can-Am Spyder. It was cheaper from lift support Depot that anywhere. It works very well. I had put a luggage rack on the back of my compartment lid and I expected to have to put two lift shocks but this one work by itself despite the extra Weight
