Stabilus SG227004 lift support for the 1988-1989 Mercury Tracer tailgate. 26.57 in extended length, 72 lbs of force, a 8 mm eyelet (5/16 in) body end and a 10 mm ball socket (3/8 in) shaft end, and 14.96 in compressed length. Direct-fit replacement that restores full lift and hold to a tailgate that has started to sag or drift down. Sold individually. Most applications use two, so replace both together.
