Stabilus SG301016 lift support for the 1985-1993 Volkswagen Cabriolet trunk. 16.38 in extended length, 58 lbs of force, a 8 mm eyelet (5/16 in) body end and a 8 mm flange (5/16 in) shaft end, and 9.98 in compressed length. Direct-fit replacement for the original support, restoring proper lift and hold on a sagging or failing trunk. Also fits the 1982-1984 Volkswagen Rabbit and 1980-1984 Volkswagen Rabbit Convertible. Sold individually; replacing both sides is recommended. Stroke is 6.4 in. The rod measures 8 mm and the cylinder 18 mm. Backed by a 1-year warranty.
