Strong Arm 4024 lift support for the 1989-1995 BMW 525I hood. 9.5 in extended length, 101 lbs of force, 8.33 mm eyelet (21/64 in) end fittings, and 6.4 in compressed length. Direct-fit replacement for the original support, restoring proper lift and hold on a sagging or failing hood. Also fits the 1989-1993 BMW 535I, 1988-1993 BMW M5, 1994-1995 BMW 530I, 1994-1995 BMW 540I, and 1993 BMW 525IT. Sold individually; replacing both sides is recommended. Stroke is 3.1 in.
