Strong Arm 4138 lift support for the 1997-2000 Volvo V70 tailgate. 10.7 in extended length, 337 lbs of force, 13 mm ball socket long cup (steel) type (1/2 in) end fittings, and 8.2 in compressed length. Replaces the original support to bring a sagging or slow-closing tailgate back to proper lift and hold. Also fits the 1993-1997 Volvo 850. Sold one per unit; replacing the pair keeps lift force even. Stroke is 2.5 in. The rod measures 14 mm and the cylinder 28 mm. Finished in black. Includes a 1-year warranty.
