Strong Arm 4142 lift support for the 2002-2010 Ford Explorer hood. 13.1 in extended length, 61 lbs of force, a 8 mm ball socket (5/16 in) body end and a 10 mm ball socket (3/8 in) shaft end, and 8.9 in compressed length. Replaces the original support to bring a sagging or slow-closing hood back to proper lift and hold. Also fits the 2007-2010 Ford Explorer Sport Trac. Sold one per unit; replacing the pair keeps lift force even. Stroke is 4.2 in. The rod measures 6 mm and the cylinder 15 mm. Finished in black. Includes a 1-year warranty.
