Strong Arm 4550 lift support for the 1998-2011 Ford Crown Victoria hood. 13.38 in extended length, 127 lbs of force, a 8 mm ball socket (5/16 in) body end and a 10 mm ball socket (3/8 in) shaft end, and 8.88 in compressed length. Replaces the original support to bring a sagging or slow-closing hood back to proper lift and hold. Also fits the 1998-2011 Mercury Grand Marquis and 2003-2004 Mercury Marauder. Sold one per unit; replacing the pair keeps lift force even. Stroke is 4.5 in. The rod measures 8 mm and the cylinder 19 mm. Includes a 1-year warranty.
