Hood lifts
Exact fit, Somewhat difficult to remove the old lift struts, but the new ones popped directly on to the existing ball and socket.
Removal of the old clip;
Use a small blade screwdriver to pry open the clip that will release the socket from the ball, then pull outward to remove. New one pops on without tools.
I suggest installing the lower side first as you cannot compress the lift by hand to get it in to position or around obstacles
I had my previous lifts on for 7 years and hopefully these will last as long or longer. 1997 Lexus LS400.
