Strong Arm 4786 lift support for the 1985-1988 Nissan Maxima hood. 28.5 in extended length, 82 lbs of force, a 8.73 mm off-set eyelet (11/32 in) body end and a 10 mm ball socket short (3/8 in) shaft end, and 17.98 in compressed length. Direct-fit replacement for the original support, restoring proper lift and hold on a sagging or failing hood. Sold individually; replacing both sides is recommended. Stroke is 10.52 in. The rod measures 10 mm and the cylinder 22 mm. Finished in black. Backed by a 1-year warranty.
