Replaces the original support to bring a sagging or slow-closing hood back to proper lift and hold. Also fits the 1992-2003 BMW 525I, 1999-2003 BMW 535I, 1997-2000 BMW 528I, 2000-2003 BMW M5, 2001-2003 BMW 530I, 1999-2000 BMW 528IT, and 1999-2000 BMW 540IT.
