Strong Arm 6161 lift support for the 2007-2010 Volkswagen Passat tailgate. 17.9 in extended length, 140 lbs of force, a 10 mm ball socket short (3/8 in) body end and a 10 mm ball socket (3/8 in) shaft end, and 11.15 in compressed length. Replaces the original support to bring a sagging or slow-closing tailgate back to proper lift and hold. Sold one per unit; replacing the pair keeps lift force even. Stroke is 6.75 in.
