Lift Supports Depot PM4004 lift support for the 2010-2024 Toyota 4RUNNER liftgate. 22.56 in extended length, 260 lbs of force, 10 mm ball socket (3/8 in) end fittings, and 15.79 in compressed length. Direct-fit replacement for the original support, restoring proper lift and hold on a sagging or failing liftgate. Fitment note: With Added Ladder And Low Load Rotopax (Important Only Be Used With Loaded Weight). Sold individually; replacing both sides is recommended. Stroke is 6.25 in. Finished in black. Struts are perfect. Original order was lost or stolen in shipment. Reached out to Lift Support Depot and they immediately responded and fixed the issue by sending another set! A big THANKS!

Great modification for adding ladder to hatch

I added a ladder to our 2023 4runner rear hatch. That made the hatch very heavy to open and once open the lift supports struggled with keeping it open. Added these new lift supports, and now the hatch is probably easier to open than it was from the factory without the ladder, and they hold it open no problem at all. If you're adding any weight to your hatch, these are a must have. Took about a minute each side to install. I definitely recommend these.

Definitely the best option for my 4R tailgate with a C4 Ladder (no accessories). Opens on a dime and I know it'll last a long while.

Ordered this for my 5th gen 4runner because I added a Baja Ladder on the hatch. This was strong enough to lift it without any issues! Would definitely recommend for this type of applicant!
