Fixed my 4Runner Tailgate
After installing sound deadening throughout my 5th Gen 4Runner, the additional weight on the liftgate meant that the stock struts just were no longer up for the job. I opted for the mid-load struts from Lift Support Depot PN PM4005 to make my liftgate forward compatible with any other accessories I may install later, like a ladder, rotopax, etc. These struts are far stronger than the stock ones and my liftgate opens up all the way by itself now, though it is a little harder for my wife to close, but better than having it come crash down and cause an injury. Highly recommend this upgrade, I waited too long.

Hatch Lid upgrade on 2030 4Runner
I added a ladder and a large gasoline container to my hatch lid and need a stronger lift. Ordered the “medium lift” but underestimated (my bad). I called customer service and arranged to drive down the next day and swap them out for the heavier duty model. They met me in the lobby and made the exchange. No muss, no fuss. New lifts are installed and it’s all good! Great product. Great people. Thanks!
