Helped my car's hatch height
A new garage door installation left the rear hatch hitting the door whenever it was opened and a lot of care was required. To solve the problem I felt that a bit more of an inch less in the opening would clear up the problem. The information on the Lift Supports Depot site gave the required length of the supports for the car and they were 1.5 inches shorter. It worked. I am delighted. The only issue is that there is less pressure in the support and they tend to close a bit too fast. That is not a real problem but something to get used to.
