THE HEAVY DUTY VERSION OF THE OE HOOD WAS A PERFECT FIT AND IT HOLDS THE AFTERMARKET HOOD OPEN PERFECTLY EVEN THOUGH THE AFTERMARKET HOOD IS MUCH HEAVIER THAN THE OE HOOD THIS IS A GREAT PRODUCT AT A GREAT PRICE AND GREAT SERVICE FROM YOUR COMPANY AND SHIPPING WAS VERY QUICK AND INEXPENSIVE ACROSS THE COUNTRY

If you happen to have a Subaru Forester with a replacement steel hood (heavier than oem aluminum)this part number does the job.All the replacement part numbers specific for vehicle were too weak.71lbs vs this ones 90
