I needed to replace the 2004 Century PU Truck bed shell lift supports. The OEM supports weren't readable, but the device & shell dimensions and LIFT SUPPORTS DEPOT (LSD) Customer Support Team found a suitable alternative. The lid weight versus the combined support capacity turned out perfectly. My order upgraded the hatch swing capabilities emensly - I no longer duck to access the truck bed! This product was for the lid on my rolling tool chest. Customer service was very helpful and we decided on the best fit for replacement supports since the broken part did not have any identifying marks to note how many pounds of force it contained. We went with the 15 pounds of force per shock and it was perfect.
