Stabilus SG204011 lift support for the 1996-2006 Ford Taurus tailgate. 23.82 in extended length, 121 lbs of force, a 10 mm ball socket (3/8 in) body end and a 8 mm ball socket (5/16 in) shaft end, and 14.9 in compressed length. Direct-fit replacement for the original support, restoring proper lift and hold on a sagging or failing tailgate. Also fits the 1996-2005 Mercury Sable. Sold individually; replacing both sides is recommended. Stroke is 8.92 in. The rod measures 8 mm and the cylinder 19 mm. Backed by a 1-year warranty.
