Stabilus SG230034 lift support for the 2000-2005 Chevrolet Monte Carlo hood. 21.77 in extended length, 107 lbs of force, a 10 mm ball socket (3/8 in) body end and a 8 mm ball socket (5/16 in) shaft end, and 16.83 in compressed length. Replaces the original support to bring a sagging or slow-closing hood back to proper lift and hold. Fitment note: Models With 2 Hood Supports. Sold one per unit; replacing the pair keeps lift force even. Stroke is 4.94 in. The rod measures 8 mm and the cylinder 18 mm. Includes a 1-year warranty.
