Strong Arm 4178 lift support for the 2003-2006 Dodge Viper hood. 11.88 in extended length, 132 lbs of force, a 10 mm ball socket (3/8 in) body end and a 8 mm ball socket (5/16 in) shaft end, and 8.2 in compressed length. Direct-fit replacement for the original support, restoring proper lift and hold on a sagging or failing hood. Sold individually; replacing both sides is recommended. Stroke is 3.68 in. The rod measures 8 mm and the cylinder 15 mm. Finished in black. Backed by a 1-year warranty.
