Strong Arm 4205 lift support for the 1996-2006 Ford Taurus tailgate. 23.9 in extended length, 124 lbs of force, a 10 mm ball socket (3/8 in) body end and a 8 mm ball socket (5/16 in) shaft end, and 15.3 in compressed length. Replaces the original support to bring a sagging or slow-closing tailgate back to proper lift and hold. Also fits the 1996-2005 Mercury Sable. Sold one per unit; replacing the pair keeps lift force even. Stroke is 8.6 in. The rod measures 8 mm and the cylinder 19 mm. Finished in black. Includes a 1-year warranty.
