Strong Arm 4331 lift support for the 1999-2000 Mercury Cougar hatch. 17.6 in extended length, 105 lbs of force, 10 mm ball socket (3/8 in) end fittings, and 11.3 in compressed length. Direct-fit replacement for the original support, restoring proper lift and hold on a sagging or failing hatch. Sold individually; replacing both sides is recommended. Stroke is 6.3 in.
