Strong Arm 4499 lift support for the 1988-1989 Merkur Scorpio hatch. 19.69 in extended length, 175 lbs of force, 10 mm ball socket (3/8 in) end fittings, and 11.77 in compressed length. Replaces the original support to bring a sagging or slow-closing hatch back to proper lift and hold. Sold one per unit; replacing the pair keeps lift force even. Stroke is 7.92 in. The rod measures 8 mm and the cylinder 19 mm. Finished in black. Includes a 1-year warranty.
