Strong Arm 4540 lift support for the 1993-2001 BMW 740IL hood. 12.8 in extended length, 198 lbs of force, a 10 mm ball socket (3/8 in) body end and a 10 mm ball socket short (3/8 in) shaft end, and 8.8 in compressed length. Replaces the original support to bring a sagging or slow-closing hood back to proper lift and hold. Also fits the 1993-2001 BMW 750IL and 1 other application. Fitment note: Body Code: E38- Non Aluminum Hood. Sold one per unit; replacing the pair keeps lift force even. Stroke is 4 in. Includes a 1-year warranty.
