Strong Arm 4817 lift support for the 1984-1987 Honda Civic hatch. 29.26 in extended length, 58 lbs of force, 10 mm ball socket (3/8 in) end fittings, and 18.02 in compressed length. Replaces the original support to bring a sagging or slow-closing hatch back to proper lift and hold. Sold one per unit; replacing the pair keeps lift force even. Stroke is 11.24 in. This was a perfect perfect match and works fine thus far. Very easy to install.
Lifts are used for a 1995 Ford F-150 fiberglass tonneau that weighs about 100 lbs. I'm hoping these last a few years since it seems gas lift supports have a life span of no more than five years.
