Strong Arm 6425 lift support for the 2003-2008 Volkswagen Beetle trunk. 7.68 in extended length, 115 lbs of force, 10 mm ball socket (3/8 in) end fittings, and 6.18 in compressed length. Direct-fit replacement for the original support, restoring proper lift and hold on a sagging or failing trunk. Also fits the 2009-2010 Volkswagen Beetle Cabrio. Sold individually; replacing both sides is recommended. Stroke is 1.5 in. The rod measures 8 mm and the cylinder 19 mm. Finished in black. Backed by a 1-year warranty.
