This was a custom application for my 1940 Olds convertible.I had done a similar modification on my 1938 chevy coupe years ago andit was just a matter of finding the right extended lenght and pressure. The website was very helpful in that regard. After confirming the data was correct with Toni ( very helpful person) I ordered and they came quickly. (happened to get free expediated shipping). I installed the struts today and they have a very good opening motion and easy to close. Hopefuly will keep this amount of pressure over time, as they all will lose some (1-3%/year). Will hope for the best and see.Great service by liftsupportdepot.

Great website for finding lift supports. Googled Stabilus 887PI for a replacement and no findings. Used their finder tool and popped up two replacements. Ordered one and it fitted. Bookmarking their website for the future.
