Would love to give your product a 5 star but based on previous reviews regarding the plastic sockets breaking if hatch allowed to raise abruptly on it's own. I find myself forgetting and quickly reacting to the hatch rising on its own. I can say with 100 percent certainty that if you upgraded to more robust socket attachments, people would still buy your product even if it cost substantially more. I was happy to see you're based out of CA and always look forward to patronizing local business. With all that said, still a great product and definitely an improvement over factory.

Completely satisfied, great product & company! I'm 6'4" & now can walk under the lift gate without ducking, with a couple inches to spare. Pay attention & read instructions before crushing your thumb... ask me how I know... lift gates are heavier than you think
